The staff were all amazing. place is very clean. food was amazing. housekeeping was on point, rooms are clean everyday . The staff treated you like family and
made us feel very comfortable.

If travelers are looking for
sandy beach, this is not the place for you . If you want to relax and snorkel in crystal clear water then this is your place

Used this hotel for lunch only, we originally stayed at Playa del carmen, again great service and very good food. Closed to downtown area, there was a fast welcome check at entrance, restaurant had plenty of room and tables.

My mom and I just returned from our annual mom-daughter trip. We usually cruise and while we have visited Cozumel many times via cruising, this was our first time staying at a resort in Cozumel. We’re hooked! It was our first time traveling since the pandemic and we couldn’t have felt safer with the precautions in place throughout the resort. The service, environment, and people were incredible. Everyone remembered our names from day 1, and we enjoyed the familiar faces and more intimate atmosphere (without feeling too confined) a smaller resort offers over some of the larger ones I’ve been to.

I have been to many all-inclusive resorts, and the service, food, and drinks here were by far the best. The oceanfront rooms are spacious with good storage and an awesome balcony with a view. We also felt safe and enjoyed walking around off-site heading in towards town. We enjoyed lunch poolside most days where Rocio and Emmanuel provided continuous excellent service and attention to our food and beverage needs. Both would always share what the drink of the day was which was fun to try and always delicious. We enjoyed room service each morning for our early coffee/tea before we were ready to eat. It never took long to be delivered. We ate at the Italian restaurant a couple of evenings where Eddie, Keke, and Ivanovich provided top-notch service and are all so kind. Isaias took care of our bags upon arrival and departure and was always great in greeting us as we ventured out to walk around. He offered umbrellas when needed though we foolishly declined once and promptly had to seek shelter during a downpour! Flor made sure our room was taken care of, and after our first day we told her our mini-fridge preferences and she always ensured everything was stocked and replenished. She was pleasant and wonderful. Luis and Charlie were great with the entertainment, and we enjoyed water aerobics with them on several days. So kind, fun, and passionate about what they do and making sure everyone enjoying themselves. We cannot remember the name of the gentleman who checked us in and out, but he was awesome, too. He also remembered our names immediately and greeted us throughout our stay as we ventured in and out of the lobby. It’s driving us nuts we can’t remember! We will absolutely be back and are so grateful to the friends who recommended this gem of a place to us. Already missing it!

I wish I could give more than five stars!! I felt so pampered at The Palace, it was hard to leave the grounds to see the rest of Cozumel! The staff immediately welcome you, check in was easy and the room was amazing - clean, beyond comfortable and stocked with beverage choices. The view was gorgeous and the balcony hammock a fun bonus. I have only stayed at a few all inclusive resorts but generally have left for most meals, not here! The food is AMAZING and I was never hungry! Italian, Mexican, Sushi - tried them all and I loved them all!

I felt so safe during my stay and appreciate the precautions that they take during pandemic times. The staff at The Palace truly make the difference, they genuinely care that you have all that you need (and want!) and it has been great getting to know them all, as much as they have time for, they work so hard!!

It's been a few months since my stay but I have to thank some of the staff that made my stay SO memorable: Hey Charlie and Darwin were great with the entertainment and engaging the crowd! Erika took wonderful care of us at the pool, Reyes made excellent beverages for our group of four, Abraham was always a friendly face at the front door and Pasqual took care of us all around! The property, rooms, view and food are already so wonderful but I believe the staff are the reason it is reaches the amazing, five star level!

Room tip: 4th floor was AMAZING!

First, Covid. We felt safer on the island, in the shops, stores, streets and in the resort then we do at home in Minnesota. All the locals were wearing a mask, even outside, when they were riding their scooters, on bikes, in their cars, etc. When going to a store, shop, or place to eat, you had your temperature check, than sanitized your hands and stepped in sanitizer for your shoes. Tables and surfaces where sanitized after each guest and they strictly enforced social distancing and allowed capacity. The few times we saw someone without a mask, or someone refusing to comply, unfortunately, it was a tourists.

We have stayed at Cozumel palace for 15 plus years, and this year it was a two week stay. So your first question might be, isn't it the same thing year after year or even day after day? NO! Each year the menus are different and this year they added a new India restaurant, table side made fresh guacamole, tuna tarter, ceviche, bisket sandwich, fruit and yogurt cart, and more! There was also a new special dinner option, the Cozumel dinner. Joel always changes the wine tasting experience. We did the wine tasting twice, and he changed the wines for both tastings. Check out their wine menu! They have wines I can't even find at some of the highest end restaurants in the US.

All staff wore masks, always. Everything in the restaurants where social distant, and sanitizing was constant. When you returned to the resort from a trip outside, you sanitized your shoes and hands. Before entering a restaurant, you sanitized your hands. Masks are required at the resort. Safe, comfortable, and confident are the words I would use to describe the covid precautions at Palace.

We even choose to work remotely one week, what a way to go! Sea breeze and waves in the background, 5 star dining, no cooking, and someone else doing the dishes. The internet connection was outstanding and no issues with phone service or connecting to US sites like Zoom, teams, Googe Connect, etc

As noted in numerous reviews, what really makes Cozumel Palace truly one of a kind, is the staff. From Isais and Pasquel at the door, Ana at the front desk, Martha and Lulu at the hostess stand, Salina and Louis in the restaurants, Joel as the sommelier, and countless others, you will not only feel like family, you will have the most incredible experience ever. Every staff member you meet will greet you with the warmest smile, and if there is something you need, they will do everything possible to make it happen.

We cant wait to return to see our Cozumel Palace family.
