Diving Cozumel is the best. We love Palancar Gardens, we can dive this reef and each time is unique and different.

I dove this site with my wife and had an amazing experience. The topography of this site is amazing with large boulders and swim throughs. We saw tons of fish and several turtles, along with interesting corals and sponges. I would recommend this dive site to anyone in Cozumel.

My husband and I were on a royal Caribbean cruise to Cozumel and chose this beach excursion to palancar reef and a star fish sanctuary as well. We rode on a boat for about 30 minutes to the reef and spend 40 minutes snorkeling. There were beautiful reefs and many fish to look at. The staff aboard the ship were excellent. The water was crystal clear and snorkeling was easy, even for beginners. I think it would be too difficult for young children though. I wish I had brought a water proof phone to catch pictures of the amazing ocean life.

Husband and I went on a 4 hour trip to snorkel here and at one other reef. It's a very pretty area, not the best it's also a little busy because of so.many people and boats going to area. But if your just out to snorkel it's a good spot. But if your going to pay to be taken out give Chichi Charters a call they will pick you up at resort and take you to a few places. Most of the spots are charged a fee for the marine life but cozumel is fast becoming a number 1 dive area. Money well spent remember to use marine safe sun location and don't touch anything it's all living.
