We were in Veracruz for a few days so why not take a look at the city museum. After all it was free too. Parts of the museum did focus on history of the city and surrounding area going way back to before the Spanish arrived. In addition, it showed loads of examples of the social and cultural history of the city, It included a few maps, artistic treats, and photos plus artifacts of bygone days. I don't think we were there for more than an hour but it was worth a visit to learn a bit more about this important city.
