We had an excellent four-night stay at Hotel Bo. As other reviewers have suggested, walking through the blue door really takes you by surprise. It’s a portal into deep rest and relaxation; the decor, build quality, and immaculate landscaping all work harmoniously to create this otherworldly vibe. They definitely know their Feng Shui.

Hotel Bo would be a top hotel anywhere in the world. It is Ace Hotel hip with Mandarin Oriental level service and attention to detail. The staff was always super helpful and friendly, especially Thelma at the front desk, who helped to book our Sumidero Canyon tour and the ride back to the airport. And the food at Lum was easily the best we had in the city.

If you’re cruising to SCLC then I highly recommend Hotel Bo. Sit on the patio sofas at night with a glass of wine and a few orders of dessert. It’s a beautiful place to take it slow.

It was an outstanding stay. Top amenities, wonderful architecture, excellent food, super service. Very quiet even though it’s in the historic centre. Mostly hear the fountain and birds, though roosters in the morning and some dogs at night. Only disappointing part was the music. The staff seems to feel they’re working in a W hotel, so the (very nice) Bose speakers in the reception and restaurant were most often playing American pop or club music at high volume instead of the jazz or similar you’d expect at this type of hotel. I spoke to the manager but it was the same when I checked out. Unfortunate as it spoils what would have been otherwise a perfect holiday.

The hotel is an amazing boutique hotel in a very nice town. As you get off the street and into the hotel, it is an oasis of peace and calm from the otherwise narrow and busy streets! The staff are extremely friendly, very helpful, and it was a shame that we stayed only for a night here. We had an early morning start the next day, and they offered to have a staff member keep some coffee and tea ready well before their normal time, which was a nice gesture. The restaurant was very good and vegetarian friendly. The rooms were very comfortable. And the location was quite convenient to walk to the centre of the town. We used them to organise our transportation and, while we don't speak much Spanish, we went with their Spanish-speaking driver - he was extremely helpful, tried his best to give us ongoing narrative of the place with the limited English he knew and the limited Spanish we did! Excellent experience using Hotel Bo overall - definitely recommend the place.

My husband and I stayed here in January 2018 for several nights. Originally booked in the basic room, this was beautiful and cleverly designed but decided to treat ourselves to an upgrade and ended up in room 22 which is a wonderful, spacious and fabulously designed, like the rest of this boutique hotel. We found the food, position and ambiance really excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel. Also the town is such a gem worth exploring off the main routes as some wonderful places to explore.
