The problem in the hotel is the staff, (which overcomes everything) and the way they treat their guests. First of all, none of the staff speaks English which made the communication very hard (although we speak a bit Spanish).
Second, the attitude was not very pleasant at all, especially by the waiters at breakfast who for some reason treat nicely only Mexican guest. It got even worst when on our last day we waited for 45 minutes to get a table at breakfast (which we paid for) which led us to leave without eating due to a scheduled trip.
At the reception, the staff are not that helpful and welcoming, plus they wanted to charge us 35$ (the rooms costs between 80-100 $) for 6 hours additional stay due to a late flight that we had. After we stayed 4 nights!!!!!!!
There are a lot of good places to stay at San Cristobal, do your self a favor and go somewhere else.
