We stayed in this home for 9 days in February, 2016. It is a mid century house, spacious with 3 bedrooms, den, 2 ensuite bathrooms with showers, and a 1/2 bathroom in the hallway. It is older, and it definitely has some quirks.The owner is the most helpful and responsive individual that I have ever have met in renting many houses on this and other search engines. She supplies large amounts of drinking water in big jugs whenever you need it. She supplies maid service with a complete linen change if your visit is able a certain number of days. The house sits on a charming Spanish Colonial cobblestoned lane which opens up to a large pedestrian square, after passing through an arch of an ancient Spanish Aqueduct. There are 2 bakeries there, and two restaurants. Up the hill there is a vegetarian type restaurant and an alternative book store. The large traditional Mexican Market is also within 1.5 blocks. there is an extremely reasonable laundry service there too. Through the aqueduct, about two blocks away is a public square called Canzatti Park. You will see children from Private schools in neat uniforms,and a number of terrific cafes. The supermarket is near there. A very upscale area, and safe. The House sits behind a front house on the lane and has a small front yard, and it is stone quiet. The people in the area are very warming friendly. The beds in the home were comfortable and the hot water was copious for a shower. Except for 2 repairs that were taken care of within 2 hours. Again, the owner is a patient woman, responsive to your needs, and just know, this is Mexico, and customs inlacing are different. Cleanliness is universal and that's what I liked, as well as bed comfort and hot water.
