The apartment is comfortable with everything one needs. Jude is helpful if you need her, but otherwise leaves you alone. A short walk down to the zocalo. There is a nice mercado with great fruit etc. a few blocks away. If you need it there is a lavanderÃa almost across the street. You can drop your clothes off first thing in the morning for wash, dry, folks and pick up after 6 pm. I was there for 10 days so I availed myself of this service.

Jude has put so much thought and love into creating this beautiful space! Lots of art adorns the walls and traditional textiles have been used. The bed is so comfortable with soft linens and comfy pillows! Good quality towels and hot water with good pressure in the shower. The location is perfect - so close to the local food market. Also close to many restaurants and sites, but far enough away from all of the noise! The kitchen is well equipped with little treats such as tea, coffee, granola and olive oil - much appreciated! Having a couch was such a treat! Jude herself is so prompt in her replies and was happy to assist with any of our questions about Oaxaca. I wish that we could have stayed longer!
