The ambience, the great 5-star service, the rooftop terrace, the incredible fusion cuisine of Oaxacan specialties with french style elegance and artistic flavorful dishes all make for this exquisite foody destination that is for us, the map of Oaxacan elegance. If you don't try this in Oaxaca, you will have missed a great culinary experience.

we didn't have reservations so we had a 40 minute wait downstairs where we had two rounds of drinks. This was the first place ive been where they bring out the glass then shake the drink and serve right in front of you. Very nice touch. We were then lef to the beautiful terrace which overlooks the back of Domingo church. Very well decorated with perfect ambiance. Table side salsa was prepared and it was delicious! The turkey breast mole and duck dishes were great. We had two desserts which were good as well. All the staff from hostess, to salsa preparer to waiters were top notch! would definitely come back.

Great lunch with excellent service at this destination restaurant with fresh and authentic Oaxaca cuisine. We ate on the upstairs terrace overlooking the church. Starting with the handmade blue corn tortillas and salsa, made at our table, every dish was a visual and taste treat.

We put our names down and went for a drink as it was a little busy. It was worth the wait. We stay on the stunning roof terrace. Great ambience. The waiters were friendly and interested to chat to us. They make the fresh complimentary salsa at your table. The venison and sucking pig dishes were delicious and full of flavour. Great Mexican wine also available. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We ate at several fun, good restaurants in Oaxaca and were looking forward to eating in one of the "best" ones. Unfortunately, our experience was mixed. The rooftop is lovely - the evening was very cool and the heaters kept it warm. The service was very good. The dinner started out well with a squash blossom appetizer that was delicious. Ford entrees, we had the guinea pig in mole which was very good and the grilled octopus. We love octopus and have had it prepared several different ways. The presentation was impressive - a very large piece of octopus. However, it was basically inedible. It was so tough, we had to work at it with a knife to cut it and it was still difficult to cut. We managed to eat about a third of it. No one asked us if we were enjoying our meal, etc. Needless to say, it was a disappointing evening.
