The restaurant is centrally located... in the middle of everything. It is beautifully decorated. I had the mole and it was delicious. Try it!

We arrived quite late in the city and were looking for a place to eat. We arrived at the Zocolo and saw the great terrace with an overview over the place. There were several bands playing below and we had a great view. The service was nice, the wine was excellent and the food was also very good. We had a fun evening and enjoyed ourselves very much.

Tried it twice. First tine food was mediocre, incorrect, and a bit cold. Thought it might be a bad night. Tried 6 days later and it wss a tad better but will definitely not go again. Sorry.

Worth a meal--good Oaxacan food. Service is inconsistent by Oaxaca standards. Try to get a table that looks out over the Zocalo.

Every time we have been to Oaxaca we have been to this restaurant. If you get tired of local cuisine or are looking for some Spanish alternative this is the place to go. On a second floor overlooking the central plaza you will have a nice time at late lunch to see town's life going by below. Maybe even listening to the Marimba.
