Enjoyed the robalo a la tabasquena. (Tabascan bass), wrapped in a banana leaf with platano, mushrooms, and shrimp in a tasty sauce with a bit of a kick. I opted for a healthy dessert to calm the taste buds - strawberries with yogurt. Very nice.

Chosen because it was convenient for our hotel we had a perfectly pleasant lunch here. The "New York Style" clam chowder was Boston Style but was very tasty. Other fish and seafood dishes were fresh and well-cooked. Service was efficient and friendly.

If you choose to sit indoors you will have to watch sport or a game show with your meal. Outdoors you will be spared the TV but will have loud piped music and the attention of beggars, shoe-shine boys, mariachi bands and so on...to contend with. Either way, very much not a place for a quiet, intimate meal.
