It was thundering outside so we decided to cancel our previous plans and dine in the hotel's Italian restaurant instead. Good call. This is a pretty and newly decorated place with nice mood lighting and great ambiance. We had a wonderful meal with delicious wine from Mexico (although soap residue spoiled the first pour) and enjoyed the unexpectedness of a romantic evening in our hotel.
Good service, excellent sommelier, a very quiet evening.

Came to Alfredo´s with my family while staying at the Intercontinental Hotel where is located. Overall it was a pleasant experience enriched by a very professional, non-invasive and charming staff. Food is typical Italian pasta dishes mainly, so, not light, obviously. However, the plates had a special unique flavor given by the fine cheeses used as condiments for the various sauces. Ambience was quite relaxing as recently renovated and liquor offerings were outstanding. I came out of there relaxed and ready for a quiet night of sleep after an exquisite challenge to the senses, which is the whole bottom line of any so called fine restaurant experience. Congrats to the staff!

My boyfriend loves fettuccine Alfredo and made us eat here so he could try the original recipe. The restaurant is very pretty and well decorated. Service was good, but the food was mediocre. The lasagna lacked flavor and was just a big melted blob of cheese. The fettuccine Alfredo was good, but nothing special since it is very traditional. It was very rich and creamy and probably included a whole stick of butter and carton of cream. The bread was cold and had cold sausage slices in it which was weird to us. The cocktail menu is very small, but the wine list is extensive. I don’t think you need a reservation here. We went on a Friday night, and the place was empty. We made a reservation on Open Table, but the host didn’t even check it. Subsequently we got an email from OpenTable saying we missed our reservation. Also, you can wear jeans and casual clothes here since it is located in a hotel and mostly frequented by hotel guests.

I have been at other Alfredo di Roma and what I liked about it is how plain and light it’s supposed te be. This one was in a bed of bitter and cheese and tasted extremely strong. Made a complaint and it was as if they did not care and thought I was just giving my opinion, very disappointing . Everything else was very good, the wine list was amazing and the service very good too
