Just another Starbucks with high prices for drinks, good ambience and amazing customer service, free WiFi and cozy place to sit and spend time with friends.

when you need a quick espresso, there's always a Starbug near you, but their cakes are expensive junk and they now want 8 pesos extra for a Colombian upgrade to their own miserable mx of industrial beans that is already 95% rent money for expensive locations and a fraction of the rest for the actual coffee, convenient but poor quality

You can find Starbucks in every corner! veryyyyy convenient as a traveler :), BUT i must say that if you are traveling to this beautiful city you should try local brands and chains...

Starbucks pretends it cares about its customers and the planet. But here's a simple example of the opposite. They have "Starbucks Shared Planet" signs up all over the place, yet in their small outside areas, there are no ashtrys-- so I guess no smoking. But no signage or enforcement. So basically you have the table next to you smoking on your face. Have some balls-- either prohibit smoking on terraces or put a warning sign that the patron is entering a smoking zone. Manager: "I'm not sure. They are not supposed to smoke, but if we call their attention, they get angry."

This Starbucks is just gorgeous, just like the patio I'd like to have at my house. Right now the dollar is extremely strong against the peso, so your average Starbucks purchase in Mexico is about half what you'd pay in the US for exactly the same thing.

I probably would have had Starbucks three times a day on my recent trip, except I was always disappointed by my lattes. I don't know if it's a different diet or ultra pasteurization, but the milk in Mexico just tastes awful to me.

Stick with the pure coffee though -- you can't go wrong there. And the Chiapas (available only in Mexico I believe) is really delicious.
