I loved everything about my stay at the InterContinental Presidente Mexico City. The beds were fantastic, the down comforter was awesome, nice, soft and fluffy, the pillows were plentiful and down filled (not the cheap synthetic pillows), full blackout shades (I could have slept all day). The AC in the room gets nice and cold, great water pressure in the shower. The rooms are very clean, well equipped, the WIFI is very strong, you only need to log in one time during your stay.

The location of the hotel is in a very safe district of DF, lots of restaurants and shops within a short walking distance of the hotel.

Definitely the best stay I have had in a longtime, I was sad to leave the hotel.

The hotel is very nice with everything you could possibly want. The area it is located in is very upscale with numerous excellent restaurants. You cant go wrong here. Give yourself plenty of time to get to the airport. We caught traffic and it was over an hour to get there mid morning.

This hotel has been a business hub for Mexico City for a long time - everyone knows this place. Staff is professional and mature, rooms are nice and comfortable. One of best aspects is the location - maybe 5-6 restaurants within a short, safe, well lit walk - some with outdoor dinning - some just across the plaza. Heavy business emphasis in the area - lunchtime at some of these restaurants may be 97% male with some cigar smoking. Hotel is large and well staffed - always have had really strong visits and slept well.

This was my first trip to Mexico City in ten years, and my first time in the Polanco area. I was very impressed with the location. It's on a circle, with shops and restaurants right outside the hotel. It's also right next door to the Marriott and the Hyatt, so if you are in town for a huge conference or event, the InterContinental is a comparable option. In fact, it would be my first choice! On the other side of the hotel is Chapultepec Park, which is great for walking or exploring the area. Great service and luxuriously appointed rooms!!! I definitely look forward to going back!!!

We visited the Intercontinental Presidente Mexico City for 4 nights in August 2017. It's a large business orientated hotel located in the lovely upscale area of Polanco.

The rooms have recently been renovated, so they're of a good standard. Perhaps a little smaller than some other Intercontinental hotels, but perfectly sufficient. The bathroom/ toilet is separated from the room by a modern window that can be turned to clear or opaque. And there are 2 automatic blinds for the main room window. We were lucky to get a high up room, with a great view over Chapultepec Park - a great view to wake up to.

We had access to the club lounge during our visit. It serves a fantastic selection of food and drink for breakfast. Then there's drinks and canapés in the evening - we were slightly surprised to find there were no cocktails or champagne during this time - as it's pretty standard for other Intercontinentals, but we were happy with a Vodka or 2!

The lobby bar is a good place to relax in the late evening, serving a good selection of cocktails, wines, beers and spirits. Around the lobby there's also some interesting shops and a good selection of restaurants. We ate in the Italian - Alfredo Di Roma on one night, which was of a good quality and a reasonable price. Outside of the hotel in the surrounding area there's many types of restaurants - so worth having a wander for dinner.

We would recommend the hotel as a good base for the city as a whole, with both Auditorio and Polanco Metro Stations within a few minutes walk. The metro was cheap quick and inexpensive, and very simple to use - better than getting stuck in the Mexico City traffic!
