Clearly, we were bothering the waiters by seeing food. The food we obtained was completely ordinary; one might say marginal. Given the delicious food available in this foodie capital, I'd say don't bother.

I felt like I was dining on a movie set. I had been on a four hour walking tour which finished at Bellas Artes. I wanted to see the interior but I was both hungry and thirsty. The lovely white linen cafe is backdropped by huge windows looking out onto the park. The service was impeccable and the food quality matched. The wine tasted better for the setting.

Convenient for a light meal before or after a show or a visit to the museum. Never disappointed. Great ambiance.

Speedy service is a great plus. Comfortable tables inside or on a balcony overlooking the Alameda, gentle classical music playing.
Menu has French bread hot beef sandwiches, beef burgers an drew chips various salad options. All of which were gobbled up on tables round ours. Most enjoyable.

Inside the Palacio de Bellas Artes, this cafe is a nice spot to relax before or after, either a visit to the historical centre, a concert or an exhibition within the Palacio itself. The menu consists of simple, but tasty selections, a limited wine list, as well as coffee, tea and sweet options.
