This used to be a real silver mine. Now it's a museum/ mine. To go to the mine is fun but a way down not for closterfobic and people with high blood pressure.

This is a very short trip, about half an hour. I like that you can take pictures at the bottom of the mine with your hard hat. my mother in law enjoyed it.

It's impressive knowing what went through back in the day to extract all the minerals and precious metals from this mine.

You'll experience descending a few meters down and have a glimpse of how miners felt.

The views towards the mountains are impressive and the site is very well preserve.

Very interesting place. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and explain the history of the mine (tour was in Spanish and didn't inquiry of other languages). Theres an opportunity to go down some stairs into the entrance of the mine and this also shows you silver in its natural state (black rock). It was around a 60 steps that are not even and some very steps are very tall. I would not recommend going down the hole to anyone with heart problems as it can be hard to climb back up. For those going down, helmets are provided to protect yourself against the narrow ceiling in the stairs.

The place is very interesting as the guides are well trainned to let visitors feel like you are in an ancient mine. The stairs down to the mine are very well lighted and the helmets provided to protect tall people are a most. The garden surrounding the entrance is weel maintained and the place in general is relaxing and illustrative
