This is a really beautiful hotel, the architecture and the gardens are amazing. Also, the spa is really great. Rooms are ok, I think sole things look a little bit old, but everything is clean and service is outstanding. Sunday brunch is one of the best I've seen, so if you stay there, don't hesitate.

Since this hotel have a very poor cell phone signal reception, be aware that they will charge you 5 USD a day for the WiFi service PER device.
And Restaurant prices are unreasonable expensive as well.
Absolutly unfair price-Quality balance.

If you are looking for a hotel in Cuernavaca, Mexico, this is definitely worth a visit. It is a strange concept to stay in a hotel with Japanese architecture and themes while in Mexico but they have managed to blend a perfect mix of authentic Japanese architecture with beautiful Mexican gardens typical of Cuernavaca. This is an ideal place to relax, rest and enjoy high quality standards both in the room and in the main restaurant.

The hotel has its history having been built by the late Barbara Hutton as a gift to one of her husbands, the Kabuki Theatre was brought over from Japan and rebuilt and many of the materials were brought over so its authentic as are many of the paintings and exhibited items (Kimonos, Samurai suits etc).

The breakfast buffet is acceptable and what you expect from this standard of hotel. The service by the pool to have a snack while you rest is also a good enough standard, but the main restaurant is outstanding. The service and quality are excellent and some dishes are very surprising (mashed potatoes with wasabi and orange peel honey was outstanding, as were the upon noodle dishes).

We felt a very personal service without feeling our space was invaded. The room (I recommend staying on the fourth floor for the views of the gardens) are impecable, very well equipped and the service all around is very good. I will definitely return.

A special mention to the Chef and manager at the Japanese Sumiya Restaurant, their personal attention and eye for detail made the visit extraordinary.

Room Tip: Fourth floor rooms have the best view and have less mosquitoes

If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet weekend, Hotel Camino Real is the place to stay... the atmosphere in the hotel is absolutely relaxing and the gardens surrounding the hotel are awesome. Amenities like pool+tennis courts+jogging track are just some of the goods you will fins. The good is very good and the service from their staff is very good. Gym needs more maintenance thought

Great for families and couples, I went with my wife just for few days, attention is incredible, food was awesome too, the pina colada at the pool bar is just unbeatable.
If you want just to chill and have a nice stay without going out to another place this is the spot.
