I left $100 in my room at checkout by mistake. The staff found it, contacted me and returned it. Besides being very well run, clean and in a great location the price is excellent.
Could not wish for more.
Just a few interesting blocks to one of the best restaurant districts and close to the best beach by 7 minute walk in Zihua.

Room tip: End rooms get the best light. All floors have stairs so go for the lowest

The map and instructions Tomas sent to help find the hotel were very helpful and he continued to offer information and assistance throughout. Despite reading previous reviews, this hotel wasn't what we expected. Small room, few amenities, no elevator, no ice, a nice flat-screen TV but zero English-speaking channels (unless you like terrible old American movies you'd never otherwise watch). An OK but spartan experience. Cars are parked in a secure area. Tons of little shops in the area and countless restaurants. We felt safe walking around in the evening.

Room tip: Our room was in the rear with a very small balcony. Reasonably quiet, especially with the a/c running.

Wonderful stay! Tomas is awesome and the hotel is centrally located and the rooms are impeccably clean. We requested a small fridge and coffee maker for the room and it was provided for a small fee and well worth it. We will definitely return next time in Zihua!

I stayed here for 3 nights over Xmas. It was noisy, but so was everywhere with all the revelry (read firecrackers). The room was spacious, clean, bright, adequately furnished/equipped and had both a fan and air conditioner--much appreciated. The staff were always present and helpful with welcoming smiles and attitudes. Although there was no safety box in the room, the staff were happy to store my passport, phone and wallet in their safe.

Although the hotel is right downtown, it's on a little side street, so once the buses stop running from the station next door, it's quite quiet and calm, even a bit deserted.

I didn't use the pool but it looked inviting and surprisingly large.

I'd definitely go back.
