I can't say enough about the kindness and congeniality of the owner, Christian and his family towards me. I was there for 3 weeks and due to mobility issues, was unable to climb to the top floor and the kitchen area. Christian put a small table in my room with coffee maker and a few dishes so I was able to have morning coffee and a bolillo while enjoying the fresh breeze coming into the room. The hotel is super clean, has wifi with an excellent signal and air conditioning. It is in a very safe area on the edge of the centre of town with a grocery store a block away and lots of taco, chicken and seafood eateries close by. The beach is about 3 blocks away and even walking with a cane I was able to get there in less than 15 minutes. I had a very pleasant stay here and am looking forward to returning in late fall. I would also like to mention that this is a very safe hotel and area for single women travellers of all ages. Gracias Christian por toda su ayuda!

About 7 or 8 blocks from the beach, just outside Centro, in REAL Mexico. If you want to experience real life in Zihuatanejo , a good, safe spot to be. Christian, the owner, and his family, were very accomodating and very helpful with our requests and enquiries.

No shuttle! Owner considers you hiring a taxi? at airport, his way of claiming it as a service on the hotel website. The area was as bad as you can imagine; in ruin. Crumbling, dirty old buildings situated a few blocks? from the beach? Reaching the little to no beach through vendors selling junk Made in China wasn't worth the effort. This hotel was clean though. There are cockroaches anywhere in Mexico so, ce la vie. Manager very kind. Pool pictured, a joke....the size of a hot tub. The bed pillow was a flat, square, old, soiled cushion in a pillow case....gross. Stayed one night and returned home due to emergency/death in family. Booking.com charged full amount and refused to refund.

Room Tip: For rooms without amenities, a centrally located fridge is available.

Thank you very much for your opinion. As you can see we have very good opinions in our web pages Zihuatanejo is a small fishing village very typical I think that for your next vacancies you need to choose luxury hotels, picking the area of ixtapa where you will pay a lot more money The hotel is located 300 meters from the beach We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay Greetings Christian

Christian , his lovely wife Evy and their 4 sons along with their great staff made our 2 week stay in Zihuatanejo a very memorable vacation . Our room had 2 very comfortable double beds ( not hard like so many ) and we always had lots of hot water for our showers . Excellent wifi in our room and the lobby. The hotel locked up at 11 pm but there was always someone there to let us in when we arrived late. We felt very safe in the hotel and the neighbourhood . We had a fridge , stove , kitchen sink and dishes in our room but there is also a community fridge , coffee pot and microwave for those with just rooms with no kitchen and there was always plenty of fresh drinking water . The pool is a plunge pool.. great to dip in and cool off . Go to the beach if you want to swim . The hotel is close to numerous great authentic restaurants , salons , pharmacies and stores . It is about a 15 minute walk to the beach . You can't beat the price on these accommodations . Super clean !! I highly recommend staying here if you are on a budget ... fancy hotels are over rated .
