We spent the day at Letys. Our waiter, Thomas, set us up with a table and loungers, then organised a Quad for us to zip up the beach. There's no obligation to leave and we lazed away a few hours, drinking beers and playing in the sea.

Great, gonna do that agin.

We went with Mazatlan/King David Tours for the day for Stone Island. Not actually an island but a peninsula. We did the ATV tour with Ubaldo and he took us all over the island to see the locals, agriculture , some spectacular views and then about 1/2 an hour on a deserted beach where we could just let 'er rip and dune hop with the ATVs all over the beach. What an absolute blast. Afterward a great lunch , cerveza and relax at Molokay. Will do this again . Out of 5 tours over our trip this was by far the most fun. My wife loved it...Happy wife, happy life :)

We were in Mazatlan for the day on a cruise. We were able to walk to the water taxi (about 10 minutes), take the water taxi ($2) and spend the late morning and early afternoon on Stone Island. We really enjoyed it. We stopped in a small restaurant and were well taken care of with food (salsa, chips, fresh made guacamole, fish tacos) and drinks (beer and margarita), good service and the ocean right there. The ocean was like bathtub water - it was so warm. This was such an easy beach day that we loved it and will be back again. We spent a total of about $24 for everything. You should bring your own towel and reading material and wear your swim suit.

If you're interested in having a day saluting nature, this is your place to be. There's nothing fancy in there just embracing a day with nature and good food, especially seafood. ENJOY!!!
