Stayed at PA for two weeks in March 2017. Cost was $1400 CAD per week for a two bedroom two bath ground floor condo. We were in unit C102. We also had a $500 CAD damage/electricity deposit. After two weeks we were refunded $375 CAD. We only used the air conditioning in the bedrooms as we had a nice breeze off the water so we did not need it in the living area. Had a great view of the ocean and I think you would from every condo. Kitchen and living area was large with a very big dining room table. Have washer and dryer in the unit and lots of cupboard space. Also had a BBQ on the large terrace. Terrace had a table, four chairs, lounger and the BBQ.
Two beautiful pools on site. One has a great view of the water. Never had a problem getting a lounge chair around either pool. The complex had 24 hour security and everyone was very friendly (owners and renters alike).
A 5 minute walk to Playa Arrocitto. Nice, sheltered beach with restaurant and bar where the snorkelling was pretty good and the swimming was great. You can take the steps down the side of the hill (76 steps) to the beach or walk to the lower entrance so there are no steps. I did see a few sting rays on the bottom so watch where you step. Also spotted some large Spotted Eagle Rays and an Octopus along with quite a variety of fish.
It cost 43 pesos one way for up to four persons to go to La Crucicita. Lots of nice restaurants with prices from very cheap to moderately expensive. Try Momma Mia's Pizza, Alfredos (live entertainment on Fridays), and Las Pasadas. Found a food cart doing dessert crepes and one doing fresh fried potato chips. Fantastic and cheap.
Strong thumbs up for those that want a comfortable condo, ocean views, 2 pools and close access to a beautiful beach. Can't really go wrong with choosing PA.
