Barra Vieja is an off-the-beaten-path beach that will get you away from the crowds and the expensive prices found in Acapulco. Its relaxing and conducive for soft talk, drinks, and great seafood with your friends. The waves are too rough to get into, but you can stroll along the sand and get your feet wet while admiring the scenic Pacific ocean. The food and the reduced crowds are the draw, however. The downside is that it's a bit hard to get to, but if you have a car or can hire transportation, it's worth the trek.
