Let me just start by saying this hotel and their staff were great! I went down there to take my daughter for a medical procedure. I dropped her off at 8 a.m. but their check in time is 3 p.m.. They bent over backwards to help me out and had a room ready by 11 a.m.. The rooms very extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel is taking extreme precautions due to Covid. They take your temperature at the door, supply hand sanitizer, and all employees are wearing masks with servers also wearing gloves. I ate multiple meals at the restaurant with the food being good, not very expensive, and again the waiters being so friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a shutter service and they drove me to the hospital to pick up my daughter so I didn't have to navigate the confusing streets of Tijuana. And as I was leaving, the nicest thing they did for me was to actually lead me to the border entrance we needed by following the shuttle driver there. If I go to Tijuana again, this is the only hotel I would stay in.

On Oct 2019 my husband and I stayed for a night at Hotel Pueblo Amigo Plaza & Casino. It’s a very good hotel for spending a night.

The lobby is small. The casino area occupies the common areas since is the main attraction in this hotel.

LOCATION: The hotel is located in Zona del Río, close to Plaza Rio and CECUT, and lots of restaurants and activities.

ROOMS: Our room 306 was big, with two queen beds. The outlets closer to the beds were behind the nightstand.
- Views: To the city.
- Illumination: The room is well illuminated.
- Beds: Mattress was really good. I slept very, very good. It was remarkable that the blankets/pillows don’t have any smell at all. I don’t know how the achieve this.
- Noise: No noise.
- Cleanliness: It was clean.

SERVICE: The staff is very friendly.
- Wi Fi: Fast.

We were there to go to there dentist. They had a free shuttle that took us back and forth at no charge, they also took us to Costco. Free parking and security. Wonderful ,Hugh buffet breakfast ,anything you could want ,omelette, waffles. Very nice and attentive waiters. It is also a casino ,they have non-smoking section.

The service here was very good. Anything we needed was handled quickly and politely. The rooms were spacious though could use a little updating. Breakfast buffet is very good. Will definitely stay again next trip to Tijuana.

I was in Tijuana for some dental work and needed a good, moderately priced hotel near the clinic. First, know it is quite near the two border crossings. I walked over at PedWest and because I had a rolling bag I decided to get a white cab to the hotel. It's a thousand yards from the border to the hotel. A fare of US $3 plus a buck tip is good. The front desk staff is prompt, friendly and bilingual. My room was large, clean and modern. The bathroom was tiled in Mexican marble and was fairly large by most hotel standards. Two tips: get a room on a high floor and make sure it is not near the elevators. I stayed two nights and enjoyed my stay...in spite of the gum surgery. The restaurant was quite good, too. Just know going in that there is a casino at the hotel and lots of slots in the hotel atrium next to the restaurant. Although they have a good smoke exhaust system, there is a slight lingering odor of cigarette smoke from the people playing the slots. Not enough to make me eat elsewhere. All in all it is a great hotel for the price.
