Great place to stay

Ive been here with my partner a few times. great staff and the best pool and bar its nice and quiet and you can get away from the sun during the day. a short walk to many amenities or you can get a lift on the bus. the staff always happy to help.

Lovely Hotel

Great hotel rooms cleaned daily. Staff so pleasant, pool lovely with great pool bar. I would definately recommend a stay here. Only ten minute walk to town and beach but if your not in the mood for a walk the hotel run a free bus to the beach. I look forward to my next visit.

Mixed feelings

We stayed at Hula Hula for 5 nights.
The resort is a short walk away from the beach and all the tourist stores. It’s really doable, but if you don’t want to walk they have a shuttle to the beach every hour I believe.
The staff is SUPER friendly. Always smiling, asking where you’re going, if everything is okay etc. Really great people.
The swimming pool was nice. Between 16 and 17 there is happy hour for the cocktails.

Now the bad stuff. The rooms are really outdated. They should really renovate the rooms this year. In the shower there was mold growing, not ao nice.
The shower itself only had 2 temperatures: boiling hot and ice cold. There was NO WAY to set one temperature. It would switch between hot and cold all the time by itself which made taking a nice shower really impossible.

The breakfast was ok I guess for people who eat everything. If you’re a vegan, you’re screwed. You’ll have to eat fried potatoes, rice and occasionally baked beans every day.

3 nights in Ao nang

We spent here 3 nights and we really liked it. Cozy hotel and pool, delicious breakfast, kind staff and free, scheduled shuttle transfer to the seaside. Cleaning could be better, but it was fine for the third day as well. The young londiner and transfer driver -same guy -ree was really very kind. Oh..and you can find a 7 eleven in front of the hotel, so everything is there what yoi need ro relax.

Rats

Stayed in the duplex for a few nights recently. Hotel staff were really friendly, private pool was great and bedroom was nice too. The only downside was rats. My partner saw a rat tail hanging from a gap in the ceiling of the living room on our first day of arrival. Told staff but it seemed they were aware. Not exactly sure what was done after we told them but for the few nights we were there, we found between 3 to 5 fresh rat droppings on the staircase and living area every time we woke up. We kept all our personal belongings upstairs and kept the bedroom door closed at all times to keep rats out. Generally a really nice place but really disappointed by the lack of responsiveness to the rat situation.
