French cuisine without pretension and excellent value. Classy yet relaxed surroundings with atmospheric Robert Doisneau pictures. Food brilliant. Highlights include the sea-bream starter (the sauce is a tour de force) and the guinea fowl is just like something of a classic French cuisine book. One small criticism - the beer range is nondescript and a really nice touch would be to have some bottled French beer e.g. Pelforth or Jenlain which would be a good pre-meal drink.
