Fabulous location overlooking the beach and all the frenetic activity.

Went for evening meal - note kitchen does not open until 8pm - although we had a very nice drink whilst waiting.

Food was very nice - but nothing special per se BUT was expensive.

Thank John P

St. Cyprien is a great place, an almost perfect horseshoe shaped bay and pretty 'au naturael' aside from the Le Tiki theme park, sorry beach restaurant! Having a villa we tend to come fairly regularly each year and used to go to Le Tiki when it was not so big and presumptuous. Don't get me wrong we love food, wine & beach-side chic, but over the years Le Tiki has become an overpriced, unfriendly monstrosity with little charm & an ego that seems to want to take over the whole beach. It may work in Florida or even the Costa Brava, but in La Corse!!!! So if you like over=priced glitz& come from Essex, you may well love it. Otherwise avoid at all costs, with the emphasis on costs!

Sometimes we're chancers. It was my Mrs's birthday and we'd only just arrived on Corsica having had a shoddy night's sleep in a hotel in Heathrow, and an early morning flight.

Somehow, quite by chance, we ended up driving all around the back roads of the village, hoping for a sea view and a celebratory drink.

Amazingly, we happened across Le Tiki and ended up having one of the most memorable dinners we have had for a long time.

Although I think we ned to go back to fully check the while place out, it gets and excellent rating from me for the pleasant, friendly staff, the superb location, great food and really laid back, well designed place that it is.

Formidable!!
