Description: The Pointer is a country pub, restaurant farm and butchers that serves fantastic modern British Food. Situated at the centre of the village of Brill in Buckinghamshire, we are open Tuesday to Sunday, serving lunch and dinner from Tuesday through to Sunday afternoons. The butchers where you can buy our meat and charcuterie and produce from local artisan producers, is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons and Saturday morning until 2pm. At the pub, we cook what's best on the day, using the seasonal produce we either grow ourselves in our kitchen garden or purchase from local artisan producers. Much of our meat comes from our own livestock herds and neighbouring farms, and if from further afield, from farmers who believe in excellent standards of animal husbandry. We’re easily accessible, have plenty of parking and beautiful gardens leading out to some lovely walks. You’ll find us by the village green, next to All Saints Church. Families and children are very welcome. In Spring 2017 we'll be adding four rooms for overnight stays too.

Not hard to see why the Pointer achieved such a good rating in the Times today.

Roast beef dinner was in a different league. Yorkshire pudding stuffed with pulled shin was a very nice touch.

Well served by Joseph; worthy of a mention. We're lucky to have this place on our doorstep.

Great food, really cozy and homey environment, very helpful and friendly staff. A great trip out of London and a beautiful drive there. Pet friendly as well :).

This is the first time we have been to this pub/restaurant and it certainly wont be the last. My wife and I went for a late lunch, the food and service were excellent, we would highly recommend, although the cost is on the high side.

As first timers we didn’t know what to expect other than the TA reviews. Set in a peaceful village, we were intrigued by the one-option-each-course 'Farmers' menu offering. We looked at the main menu, all decided on the former and were not disappointed. All courses were tasty, the main especially so.
Service was courteous and efficient and the ambience just right. Thought the wine list was a bit ott.
Tip - keep to the Farmers for best value.

Great atmosphere, and friendly staff. The food is great to lunch or dinner. We would recommend the grouse for dinner or the ham, egg and chips for lunch, which is great. If you’re in the area you must pop in, excellent!
