I don’t often leave good reviews unless a place really wows me, so I really mean it when I say that I had a fabulous time at he three fyshes. Set in such a beautiful location, the atmosphere was calm and friendly, the drinks were good and the food was lovely! Recommend this highly to family and friends! A must!

I am reluctant to write bad reviews, this is my first because I was so disappointed I just thought ... NO this is not acceptable.

great historical pub , fabulous setting. lovely village - all good

Plenty of off road parking, splendid outside garden overlooking the river - brill

Friendly service , well presented restaurant. pure white table clothes, large cotton napkins..very good quality, tables set with glasses galore for white wine, red wine , water glasses, full cutlery set for starters, mains desert - top notch

meal I wanted - they had ran out , that is fine not a problem

We ordered ham egg and chips - nearly £12 must be good

We also ordered fish and chips - nearly £12 must be good

Worst meals we have had in years and I mean years.... cheap packet ham, wet, slimy, tasteless , oven chips , lots of black bits, had been hanging about for a while I would say , not cooked to order.. eggs - ok

Fish & chips - same again, well below average, with peas left over from roasts of the day , hanging about for god knows how long in a warmer.

All in all get your act together - no excuses for serving up cheap substandard food that has been kept warm in a food heater for hours and charging premium prices that you can not justify.

I visited this pub several months ago and the chef and food was top notch.. what has happened.

Good luck to you anyway

Somethings where not the responsibility of the pub restaurant. It was a beautiful sunny and pleasantly warm Monday to have lunch in the special garden. It was peaceful - Monday after all. But then the Three Fyshes added their excellence. The service was charmingly provided with a happy and helpful approach. The food - and we went for the full 3 courses - was lovely, well presented and generous in proportion. Overall it was a very memorable occasion and real value for money

We visited Ye Three Fyshes for Sunday Lunch as a family party of six and had a really great experience. Staff were friendly and helpful without being overwhelming. My daughter asked for cream instead of creme fraiche with her desert and they provided her with a big jug of double cream. The atmosphere that of an old English Pub and is homely and cosy. The food was great. I had roast beef that was beautifully cooked and tender. There was a wide range of drinks including Real Ale. I had Green King IPA off the hand pump and it had been well kept. When the bill came we felt that it was very reasonable.
