We used a groupon voucher, which usually have a catch, but no, it was fabulous.
We hadn't had lunch so we decided to have the afternoon tea as an extra. The restaurant was very busy, I guess because it was the Sunday before Valentine's Day, and the Staff were run off their feet but that was fine and we enjoyed the tea very much.
The bedroom was pleasant and clean and we had a good night's sleep. No complaints about the wifi either.
The dinner was excellent.
The breakfast was good too, I think all those staying arrived in the last of the opening hours for a leisurely breakfast, as did we. We still got a table and a full selection of the food on offer.
The Staff were all very pleasant, cheerful and most helpful. The buildings are very interesting with some great information to read on the walls. The grounds are massive and superb to explore. The location is excellent being easily accessible from London on the tube ( and then a short bus ride or £5 taxi ride).
With our Groupon voucher we got a fantastic one night get away at an amazing value, so of course I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
