Went here yesterday for lunch, had the prawn cocktail starters then hot beef sandwiches with chips, could not fault anything, very nice indeed. Good service as well.

We visited Wednesday evening rather than drive into warkworth big mistake that was...just short of 40 quid was daylight robbery 2 potato skin starters 2 pints lager a burger and a lasagne.
It says on the sign outside "fine cask ales and a warm welcome" We got neither no beer on and far from a warm welcome...so 2 pints lager it was then..I ordered garlic mushrooms...sorry there is none came the reply can I have the pate...there's none of that either...Ok we will have 2 potato skins then...Starters delivered promptly so far so good ...then the mains came out an the chips were a few seconds from cremation if there had been a priest in we could of given them the last rites ...lasagne swimming in oil and the burger was edible....I hate complaining but we were never checked and there was no offer to knock a few quid off fo r a couple of portions of chips....all in all really poor, also not as though they were busy we were the only ones in....always go with your instinct knew we should of gone somewhere else

Booked in advance weeks before arriving here on the 11/3/18 to find out from the waitress that the table we had reserved was occupied by another group. This left the party annoyed as we were then told to sit and wait at the bar until a table became available. A further 15 minutes later a table was eventually scrambled together and we could enjoy the rest of the day.
The carvery was average as when we went up there wasn’t anything really left. One chef cutting the meat for you which really slowed the process down. As the food was slow on being brought down to the hot plate you were stood waiting around for certain extras. Once you managed to get a full plate and tucked into the food it wasn’t that bad.
Desserts looked tasty. The selection at the bar was good. The decor is modern and stylish in the bar area and restaurant area with a fire. Outside play area for children too and dogs welcome. Overall an average visit.

Came here for Sunday lunch. Food was ok and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. Gluten free options were available including gluten free gravey for the Carvary. Overall a nice restaurant with a great atmosphere and a stylish interior

Great place to eat and drink but this might sound stupid every time I go to the toilets it’s absolutely freezing in there. My tinky is small enough but I always shiver when I go pee pee.
