We had a lovely one night stay at this bed and breakfast. We would recommend to anyone who needed a bed and breakfast in this area. Ron was a brilliant host and nothing was too much trouble for him. The most comfy bed we have ever stayed on away from home. The room was very fresh and newly decorated. The breakfast was very nice.

Well located for the area, friendly , helpful and comfortable service. Ronnie, the owner was on hand to explain things and facilitate in the village. I liked the hearty well coooked breakfast and the comfortable room. It was located within an easy walk of the local pubs and eateries.

Our hosts were wonderful - so helpful and welcoming. The B&B was immaculate, the beds were very comfortable and the bedding and towels smelled divine. We were provided with a breakfast menu the evening before so that we could pre-order our breakfast and choose what time we'd like to eat, which was great as we had an early start. The breakfast was very good and the hosts even have specially toasting bags to use with gluten free bread to avoid cross-contamination. The B&B is ideally located for those travelling across the Southern Upland Way and there is a cosy pub less than half a mile away in the village that serves delicious hearty food.

We are always grateful for positive feedback and never cease to be thrilled when guests comment on the areas that we consider to be a normal part of our philosophy on Hospitality!

The SUW is a fantastic challenge and Brookford is committed to providing the very best accommodation and services to ensure walking the route is as an enjoyable experience as walking in Southern Scotland should be.

Dinner was just as we like it - straightforward nothing fancy, just good wholesome food to be enjoyed. You must have the breakfast - just perfect!
Worth looking around the village. Everyone is very friendly. The Clachan Inn is well worth a visit for the atmosphere and the food.

Having two award winning businesses in our small village makes any visit to Dalry special.

We are delighted to able to recommend the Clachan Inn to our guests, but are just as happy for guests to choose our own award winning evening meals!
