“LIttle hidden gem”
Reviewed 15 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Fantastic location and a well appointed cottage with EVERYTHING you may need.
Linen on the beds was lovely and very comfy.
The cottage is ideal for taking dogs (we took our two labradors) it has an enclosed garden but then the loch is just across the road.
Would highly recommend a stay here and the host Andrew was friendly and helpful without being in the way (hope that makes sense)
We used it as a base for travelling around and the location was perfect for this.

what a lovely cottage. The views out the front were just stunning. But do not look for the old phone box as that got taken out a few days into our stay. On the first morning I could of just stayed looking out the back window watching the wildlife. Was lovely watching all the red squirrels playing. But the exciting thing for me was the rare visit from the pine Martin..
Loved the bedrooms and bathrooms great showers. Water being brown due to peat was slightly of putting.. The only things that spoilt it for me I thought the lounge furniture was very worn and dated. And the back gardens were all open to all 3 property's and as we had a dog that is nervous with other dogs we were unable to let him have a run in the garden.. Very safe for children and other dogs though.. Really did not spoil il our holiday and loved it all .. The view a couple of miles up the road is one of the best in the world. And I have been to some stunning places. For me it's a shame it's a 10 hour drive away. Went on some fantastic walks. The village is good very friendly and good for eating out.

“Fabulous cottage in gorgeous surroundings”
Reviewed 29 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Teal cottage was spacious, yet cosy and comfortable, and wonderfully well equipped. Full-size fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, both bedrooms en-suite, separate utility room and shower room - couldn't have asked for any more to make our stay as relaxing as possible. Andrew was very helpful in providing fishing equipment for our son and useful info on where to fish - and yes, we did catch some! Stunning views from the cottage onto the loch and the surrounding are is beautiful. This place was the perfect antidote to the stress of the daily grind. Our dog Bobbi had great fun running along all the beaches everywhere we visited. We were all sorry to leave.

“Perfect cottage - comfortable and warm - great host”
Reviewed 9 October 2014 for a stay in August 2014

One of the best cottages we have been to. Easy to do, comfortable and warm, log fire.
Slept very well.
Andrew the owner is a kind and helpful host.
We have a dog and there are some places to walk near at hand, down onto the shore especially.

Big estuary that fills up and empties dramatically outside the window across the road.
Old red phone box just there too. This is a really lovely part of the world. Beautiful scenery, lovely places to visit... even made it to Gigha (must go to restaurant there) .
and loads of other trips ..Otter Ferry .. Tignabruich
Forgive the spelling... Just great !
