The Hotel du Golf of Corrençon en Vercors has just been an amazing surprise. Basically because we spent an excellent week end in this beautiful area of the French Alps, the Vercors.
The owners, Sandra and Richard (brother and sister), will definitely take care of you and their property offers everything you'll need: from slippers and robe in their confortable rooms, to a wellness area with spa, sauna and a swimming pool.
The breakfast is also delicious, with natural local products like the eggs, the cheese, the ham, etc.
And don't forget to eat at the restaurant where chef Guillaume and his wife will make any evening unforgettable with the quality of the food served.

Room Tip: Most of the rooms are really good

Stayed for three nights in march with all meals included. Accomodation was very comfortable, cozy and clean. Wifi signal was good everywhere except the meeting room in the back where the signal dissapeared as soon as you walk through the door. The location is extremely beautiful and scenic and the staff in the hotel were very accomodating and friendly. The food was SPECTACULAR!! although I can see it wouldn't be for everyone, I love food, fine dining and trying new things and concepts so I thought the chefs imaginative and creative approach was excellent and refreshing! The menu really mirrored the landscape and the location in its season from ingredients, textures and flavours used right down to the presentation of the starters served on bits of tree trunk and items from the surrounding landscape. It felt almost like I was eating the forest floor!! An amazing way to encourage the guest to experience the alpine landscape through the food. It really was a revelation and really told a story. Just how good food should be, the food here is almost art. As I said not for everyone, if you want a good burger and chips you won't find it here, but for people looking for a new, and unique, fine dining experience this place is right up there! I was there with work this time but look forward to returning sometime with my family to experience the amazing menu. michelin star well deserved!!

Lovely hotel and beautiful setting although food not available all day and evening set menu not suitable for children and only alternatives in the next village so wouldnt recommend for families, other children were noisy at night with wooden floors throughout building so id recommend for couples returing later at night

This a is a great hotel in every way. You'd expect a stylish hotel with design like this in a big city - but it's a surprise to find such a hotel in the countryside. The service and food are excellent - and my friends wanted to take away a mix tape of the music!

Highly recommend the hotel and the area - the Vercours is spectacular and deserves to be visited much more.

Stayed 3 nights demi pension in September. Nice chalet-style hotel in quiet position in the stunning Vercors. Most welcoming and helpful owner (Madam rather less so, more interested in chatting to her friends).

Room very spacious, on two levels with all amenities. A bit creaky when going to the loo at night! Decent pool and a bit of garden. Walks straight out. Plenty of parking. Bar a bit small for number of rooms. Staff generally very pleasant.

Main problem was dinner. First, though advertising a range of times to eat, in practice no food is served until everyone is seated. Second, the chef seems to pick ingredients out of a hat, trying unsuccessfully to be different! We have no problem with distinctive flavours, but many dishes simply looked and tasted unappetising (black sludge with raw egg) or were completely inappropriate (curry powder pud when trying to enjoy an expensive wine). Very disappointing indeed. We know that Michelin tends to award stars more liberally in France, but by UK standards - and two other starred French restaurants we used on this trip - we felt that the one star here was simply not justified.
Interesting wine list, but a bit over-priced.

It would be better to have simpler menus, better cooked, to match what could be a very pleasant place to stay.
