Make sure you wear sneakers as it is a walk. Great view of the island. Beautiful structure and great story behind it.

Fabulous adventure. Wear good hiking shoes, no flip flops or you’ll fall. Climb the hand cut stairs to see the stations of the cross and the beautiful tiny chapel at the top. Fabulous views!

Took an old bike 4 miles from FBV to see the Hermitage. Was actually a fun little hike up the "mountain" to it.

Looks a longer hike than what it is. In three parts. First is rocky. Divides into two paths. To the left is an easy slow rise and to the right is the original Father Jerome pathway. Third part of the Father Jerome way is step steps cut into the rock. The Hermitage is great and the view from there are wonderful

This was a really cool site, built by hand by a hermit/monk. The stone work was interesting and the views of the surrounding country side and ocean were good.
