Four of us had 3 appetizers and a sandwich, all had great presentation and were delicious. The quiet location in an open air mall was just what we were looking for and the sangria was quite delicious. Our server, Eva was an absolute gem.

I'm a local and this is my favorite restaurant in town. The owners are always there and the place is well run and fun to visit. It is located on Palm Passage with some great shops. A great place to sit and watch the world go by. Shady, cool and really kind of serene for a town location. Some sophistication right in the heart of Charlotte Amalie.

The menu is interesting with a great take on Paella and Zarsuela del mariscos. The sausage and cheese stuffed burger is way beyond a normal burger. I'm getting hungry just writing this.

This is where I go for my birthday. I highly recommend Amalie Cafe.

This restaurant is in the downtown area where the shops and jewelry stores frequented by cruise ship vacationers. They are tucked away in an alley and can provide indoor or outdoor seating. The owners are a husband and wife team and we were seated by the wife. Our waiter was able to advise us on wines we were not familiar with and guide us to an appropriate bottle. Our server disappeared at times but the owner was nearby and responded to our service requests when needed.

The food here was exceptional. I don't think you can go wrong. We were there for lunch and I had the Burger which was accompanied with three sauces including a chipolte mayonnaise based sauce. You get steak fries and lettuce, tomato and onion on the side. My wife had Zarzuela de Mariscos they tasted absolutely wonderful. Bread was served before we received our meals. All of the meals we saw looked great and the presentation is wonderful. We were there with some locals who always go to this restaurant when they are in the downtown area.

Glady's cafe in the Royal Dane Mall on Main street is the perfect place for lunch. Menu is reasonable, had the Curry chicken for $12.95. They have a drink special for $3 (rum or bloodies). Great value, good ambiance. Went there twice during my 1 month stay.
