A busy loud and fun cafe. Incredible snacks and deserts. I recommend taking the treats outside and enjoy some great people watching!!

We stopped at Amalia Cafe on our way through St. Thomas after a week of boating through the BVI! Our waiter Mr. Griffin was the perfect addition to our amazing meal with his sense of humor and knowledge about epicurean standards. Everything from the refreshing home made white wine sangria to the poached pear dessert this hidden restaurant was one to rave about. If you're in the St. Thomas area and want to have a genuine Spanish meal with excellent service, Amalia Cafe is a must stop.

Food is authentic and delicious and the setting in Palm Passage is lovely if you sit out on the covered sidewalk. Have the paella for a group of people, it is well worth sharing.

We have lived on St Thomas for years, yet rarely go downtown. However, we now have a reason to go often. We discovered the Amalia Café a few months ago and it quickly became one of our regular dinner haunts. The food is outstanding ( Zarzuela is the best ever) and complemented by a smart, super friendly and professional wait staff. On good nights, we see Maynard, the proprietor, who is an engaging, charming host and a brilliant connoisseur of fine rums. the Amlia Café promises a wonderful, fun dining experience.
