The other day Jack, Loopy and I were helping Ed with his boat and decided to have a quick lunch at Carigas. Luckily the place made it thru the hurricanes and is open for business. We had a great lunch in the company of guys taking a break from restoring numerous boats lying on the dry.
Stop in at Cariga’s and have some good food and good conversation.

Jane was very interactive person with our group. Her recommendations for lunch were spot on. Service was friendly and fast. Food was very good! Fish tacos have the island flare as well as the fish and chips. Met some great local people who provided other great dining recommendations!

Tucked away in a boat yard, on the water. It is a little hard to find, but a true taste of the local island vibe. Food was good, but the drinks were a little watered down. The waitress was awesome and we enjoyed our meal. Fun little place.

First, it's a little hard to locate, but your efforts will be rewarded.
I had made a listing of places to try while staying on the east end of St. Thomas and CaRiGa's looked like my breakfast spot. It is a great choice.
It's quiet. It's quaint. The food is good and reasonably priced. We had the same table each time and enjoyed the view of the water, the iguanas in the mangrove, and the comfortable service.
We did not go for lunch or dinner, and I regret not trying those offerings, but I would expect more of the same.
I can't say enough on how pleased we were with this restaurant.

We decided to revisit this restaurant for dinner after stopping by earlier to pick up an item left the day before on our boat trip. It wa a great decision. You can't beat an open air restaurant with walls of mangroves providing privacy and shade. Our group of 9 was well taken care of and the food was delicious. Great hamburgers and I had the grouper reuben sandwich which was excellent.
