Description: Big Al's Island Grill is now open in Salt Mills Plaza. The restaurant made its grand opening in November, and offers a delicious variety of burgers and other entrees. The decor is that of a 50's diner, and will bring you down a trip through memory lane with its checkerboard design and red accents. Though the restaurant is the "new kid on the block," owner Doug Camozzi is not new to the restauranteur business. He is also the owner and manager of The Green Bean Cafe in Turtle Cove. Doug opened Big Al's Island Grill in honor of his father, a seasoned restauranteur himself, running successful businesses in San Francisco. On the Menu Big Al's offers quite a unique selection of burgers including their New Mexican Burger, the Sicilian Burger and the Smashed Onion. Fries are offered in shoestring, krinkle or waffle cut. Burgers are not the only meals you will find at Big Al's. Don't miss out on their wraps and salads, grilled chicken, fish or steak options. Gluten-free and vegetarian choices are available too. If you think you can take on a challenge, try the Slider Challenge at Big Al's. If you can finish the meal within 30 minutes, you get a free t-shirt. Be sure to stop by and visit Big Al's Island Grill if in the Grace Bay area.

Located in a strip center, so you have to search for this off of the main drag. Great. Burgers....lots of choices. Good fries. Nice diner style food.

So I went to big als with my friends to spend some great time, we ordered a medium pizza and like 5 sprits, the service was terrible we sat down for like 5 minuets before we received a menu, we had to ask for one. The waitress was very rude to us saying thank god they left and talking back to us with and attitude.
The table was dirty had to ask to get it cleaned up and the silver wear was dirty too we couldn’t even use it. The pizza was alright but the waitress needs better work ethic.

We ate here for dinner, the food is good, the service in our experience was not so bad. We asked for WiFi password and we had a wrong one. In any case if you eat hamburger this is the right place.

I will admit, I tend to only write a review when something is ridiculously terrible.. well despite some super yummy burgers, the service was just so bad. Started with an app and drink order, app came out ten
minutes later. Still no drinks, took ten more minutes and asking 2 more waiters for us to get them. Ordered our burgers, husband got wrong side and I asked for ranch, which I asked again for and never got... Saw the owner, "big als" son( i would guess american), was milling about selling raffles tickets and foot ball squares rather than being a front of house manager caring about service.... to top it off, the rude waitress barely even paid attention to us as we tried to pay the check.... If the owner actually paid attention or cared this place would be great....

When I tell you the lobster was amazing I mean it. The lobster mac n cheese was wonderful. The cheeses were on point and the lobster was cooked to perfection and not over cooked.
