My husband and I recently returned from this property and had an amazing time. The staff is abundant, friendly and professional. The service whether at their gorgeous pool, in the room or on the fabulous beach was nothing but 5 star. This property, on Grace Bay is beautiful and very well located. We walked to dinner almost every night. This is our 1st visit to the this property, but our 6th visit to the island. Would most definitely return.

My husband and I just returned from Turks and Caicos on Feb. 13th.The hotel staff at the Regent Grand work hard to keep the hotel grounds, rooms very clean. However be sure when booking a room you fully understand the difference between the accomodation. What is called a suite is actually one small room. Although we were happy with the resort overall the room was a joke for over $3000. for a week stay. We attempted to upgrade to a one bedroom ocean view and the price jumped from $320 per night to over $900 per night not including the 21%tax added on. I expected that the hotel staff could have worked out a better deal since they were only 50% booked that week. We will go back to West Bay Club or Point Grace next year!

Room Tip: Be careful when booking garden/pool room suites........(room 306A)very small room, no stove, no wash...

While we appreciate Nancy's comments, we must stress that the studio rooms at The Regent Grand are described as follows on the website:- "Located on floors 3 and 5, accessible via semi-private elevator, these cozy studio apartments are perfect for a quick getaway or romantic break. Overlooking our beautiful mosaic, infinity pool, they feature one queen-bed, kitchenette with microwave, toaster oven and refrigerator. (419 sq ft ) (The studio apartments do not have laundry facilities).

Like refugees from a third world country my friend and I arrived at the front desk desperate for a room. Traumatized after 1 day at Club Med Turks & Caicos we showed up with tears in our eyes and were immediately soothed by the front desk manager at the Regent Grand, Calvin. His kindness and willingness to accommodate us were matched only by our first view of the serenity pool in the courtyard surrounded by lush palm trees and Italian villa ambience. Checking in less than 24 hours later the staff could not do enough to ensure our comfort and happiness. Our room was an oasis of luxury - Italian marble, granite counters and a bed worthy of royalty.

Included in our rate was daily breakfast served at the local restaurant, The Vix where I was greeted by the gracious Sonia who served up fresh, piping hot coffee. Delicious eggs, bacon, grilled mushrooms and tomatoes, fresh fruit, pastries and breakfast puddings were served buffet style and kept fresh through constant rotation from the kitchen - never, ever left sitting to die under a heat lamp.

Relaxing by the pool or lying at the crystal blue water's edge, Jimmy ensured our comfort providing us with drinks and fresh towels. Retiring to our room in the evening our bed was turned down and ghirardelli chocolates placed on the pillows. A perfect way to end a perfect day at the perfect vacation spot.

Thank you Calvin, Jimmy, Sonia and the rest of the staff who make The Regent Grand the best resort in Providenciales.

Room Tip: I can't imagine any room would offer anything less than perfection.

My wife and I experienced a great week at the Regent Grand. The pool and beach are beautiful as our the grounds. The staff works very hard to keep the place in beautiful shape. In visiting a few other properties, we found The Regent Grand is more relaxing and quiet than many of the other big resorts on the beach. This is a nice quiet place to relax. It was just what we were looking for. Not much point to add on to how beautiful the beach is. That is a given. There is not a restaurant on site, but there are many within a short walk.

Bay Bistro provided our best meal, but also really enjoyed sitting on the deck at Seven, Mango Reef and Hemmingways. Coco Bistro was great as well. Although it is not beachfront, Coco Bistro probably had the most attentive service of any of the restaurants we experienced. Anacoana was the only place we found to be a bit pretentious.

There is plenty to do within walking distance and unless you want to explore the underdeveloped areas of the island you don't need a car.

Room Tip: We stayed in a 2BDR poolside villa. These rooms are immaculate

My wife and I loved our week long stay at the Regent Grand. The pool and beach are beautiful as our the grounds. The facility is well maintained.

After walking the beach for a week, we found the Regent Grand is more relaxing and quiet than the other resorts on the beach.

The staff is very good overall from Jimmy who makes sure you always have a drink in your hand while by the beach, to the house keeping staff who did a great job all week.

The front desk staff is hit or miss. They sit behind a very high desk so you aren't sure if they are even there until you walk up to the desk. Some were helpful, others less helpful. I recommend booking activities and restaurants yourself. The desk made 3 errors with reservations on our trip.

Regardless, I recommend this resort to anyone looking for a smaller resort on a beautiful beach with a great pool and near shopping and restaurants.

Say a prayer before driving on the island. I drive in Boston, MA known for its aggressive driving, it's nothing compared to the driving in Provo.

Room Tip: The full kitchen and nearby grocery store can you save you money if you want to cook a few meals ins...
