Wow! Where to start?! Came here for dinner on the second night of our holiday as our hotel food was shocking! In some ways the hotel did us a favour as the thought of never finding this gem doesn’t bare thinking about...
The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a great vibe, we came out of season so it was quiet, a shame as it deserves to be full to the rafters every night. The plus side for us is we got to know Warren and Ria the owners, such lovely people with great souls, always there to make you feel welcome with the added bonus being the man can cook (marry me?!) A couple who deserve all the success that is undoubtedly coming their way. A shout out to Adrian too, Warren’s son who is learning the ropes from his super skilled dad!
For our first night on Warren’s recommendation I had lion fish and my partner had the barracuda, both sublime, perfectly cooked and delicious! Great sides too, no tinned veg here! We came back a further 4 times, every meal we had was to the highest standard, Warren knows his food, his seasoning is exceptional. Very hard to choose a favourite meal but the coconut garlic shrimp and the lobster would seriously take some beating, oh and the curry was awesome too....as foodies we can say the food on each occasion was outstanding, beautifully cooked and presented. You will struggle to find better food anywhere, whether in Tobago, the Caribbean as a whole or the world, honestly!
