Been meaning to visit this restaurant for a while now, and finally got the chance. I was excited to see on the menu they offer curry, so that was my go to selection.

Upon reaching the Restuarant, which is located above Pizza Boys, and next door to the fish pot. TripAdvisor location may be a little off, but you’ll easily find it if you follow the above.

I was greeted by the owner, Ria a delightful hostess, who made me feel very welcome, and was attentive at all times. Granted I arrived quite late so the restaurant was quiet.

Anyhow after a glass of wine and a look at the menu, I went for the fish. The options that evening was tuna, red snapper, or grouper. I chose the curried grouper, with jasmine rice. The dish was accompanied by a dhal, and a home made chutney, and wow the entire dish was fabulous. The curry wasn’t all about pepper, it had a wonderful subtle flavor. The fish was also perfectly cooked, moist and a generous size.

I highly recommend, so much so I’m going back this evening.

Dining at Edge of the Reef is a necessity for me. I always enjoy the wonderful food as well as the awesome camaraderie of the owners and the diverse clientele from around the world. Because the restaurant is perched one story above Shirvan Road facing the northern coast into the Caribbean Sea, the elevated view from the Edge of the Reef during the day over the triangle park in Pleasant Prospect, the lush green vegetation that encapsulates the undulating landscape of the village as well as the view into the cove of Stonehaven's beach gives the viewer one of the most peaceful and therapeutic displays of the beauty of Tobago and it is easy to spend an entire day relaxing in the patio.
The flavour of the food lingers and satisfies the palate, and the easy or challenging substantial conversations delight the intellectual appetite with equal charm. Lovers of seafood will be happy with the many options from which to choose.
The seating arrangement is also good for management meetings and small groups as it offers privacy owing to its location above the street. I enjoy inviting my friends there to experience the cuisine and the jovial ambience, all of whom have fallen in love with the concept that makes Edge of the Reef so uniquely memorable.

Fantastic fish menu and great food, the for us so far in Tobago. A hidden gem well worth a short taxi ride (15 min) from Crown Point. It’s not well known so ask for Triangle Square, old graft way, above the Pizza shop!

Visited last in April and the food was just as fantastic this time round - which for Tobago is not always true when you go back for a second visit... Wonderful starters, and the fish main course was so tasty and cooked to perfection! Great service - and always with a smile. Don't be put off by the location above Pizza Boys - definitely worth adding to the small list of great restaurants in Tobago.
