On arrival the owner was on spot to meet the guess and I with a huge smile and a drink. We stayed at the Hotel Laurena and it was wondeful staff polite and professional at all times. The front street restaurant was also accessible and we ate very tasty menus there. We will be back there soon for another great experience.

We stayed here last week whilst on honeymoon, we where staying in Grenada and came over the ferry, my husband felt sea sick so we decided to stay on the island overnight.
This hotel was recommended by a few locals, that we asked.
The hotel owner was lovely, and very helpful, as where all the staff. Are room was clean but very basic, we did have a tv, and a fridge, the bathroom was the best part of the room. It looked recently refurbished, the towels where in abundance and of good quality, they also supplied toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body lotion.
The location of the hotel was great, it was a 2 minute walk to the beach, bus terminal, bars, and restaurants, I would give the hotel a 3* rating.

Highly recommend this place. They offer many rooms in various configurations that can save a small group some money by fitting combinations of married, single, and different genders in the least number of rooms. We rented a 2 room apartment with a kitchen and living area for about us$36/night/person for 3 of us rather than the alternative of 2 separate rooms. If there had been 4, it would have been about $24/person/night. The A/C meant that there were no mosquitoes to deal with. Other lodging we looked at was either more expensive or had nets over the beds, meaning free ranging mosquitoes in the room. The common area for gathering together and being mosquito-free were important to us. Centrally located. Almost next door to Deefer Diving. Gave it a 4 rather than a 5 because the water pressure was low.

Room tip: Ask about all the room configurations available. Some are apartment style.
