This beach is a great, quiet hang out. The snorkeling is a nice easy (shallow) spot with a short swim to the reef. Look for the Seven Mile Beach Cemetery sign (near Discovery Pointe Club condos) and park in front of the cemetery. My 6 year old daughter called it "dead people beach"...but she got over the fact that it was behind the cemetery :) The only down side is that there are no restrooms or place to rinse off. My favorite new spot is Smith Cove (other side of Georgetown from Cemetery reef, but still off of South Sound Rd.) It's a gorgeous spot and lots of beach space. Plus, there's restrooms and a shower! We did an easy 50 foot shore dive (bring your own gear, no rental spot there) and my daughter enjoyed the snorkeling around the rocks. There's even a place to jump off the rocks (about a 5' jump). So, in short...visit Cemetery Reef...it's nice, but don't miss out on Smith's Cove!

This beach feels a bit more secluded and snorkeling is ok, I'd steer more people towards Governors beach for the snorkeling.
