There are places where we humans feel like we become part of nature and this one of those places, First, the island was formed from one large Corel reef which is the second largest island in British Virgin Islands, which is astonishing in the sheer size of this reef. Second, it is surrounded by the 3rd to 4th largest reef in the world. Third, there is one entrance on the island on the south side due to the reef and that means very few boats in the area on the reef inside of these beaches which is great, Fourth thing is snorkeling off of the beach is a few hundred yards into beach Side of the reef, fifth is the beaches are just beautiful and have not been contaminated by humans since only 300 people habituate on this Island. Sixth is this island is the most northern island of the carribean which meets the Atlantic Ocean and connects the carribean sea, Seventh is the northern winds are tremendous hutting this north side beach 24/7 and feels great with sound and salty water and wind hitting your body, Eighth is the exciting but dangerous segment in which rip tides at the edge of the reef can suck you out with those 10 ft waves plus slamming the reef and would be hard to swim back into the beach side of the reef or you could be out to sea even with snorkeling partners as I witness recently but enjoy AND please be careful and safe....bon temps
