We enjoyed our stay at Leverick. Their staff are amazing, so helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed all the fun events they had including the Pirate Show and the Jumbies barbecue! We live the island vibe, people are so friendly and it's one of the safest places to be in the Caribbean. Can't wait to return for our fourth visit.

I was in the BVI on business and so was not specifically looking for luxury or aesthetics. Leverick Bay however was a really nice find for the price, with large, bright rooms with balconies overlooking the bay (stargazing at night was mind blowing!), a couple of restaurants downstairs by the water, gift shops, a convenience store and a little jetty where we could catch boats to the nearby islands and even a ferry directly to Trellis Bay in Tortola for the airport. No frills but convenient and with gorgeous views.

Room Tip: Upper levels offer the best views over the bay

We decided this year to take a short trip - one week - a little late in the year. We love the BVIs and have travelled there several times, always on sailboat charters. On all of those trips, one stop was the marina at Leverick Bay. When deciding where we would stay for a land based vacation, I decided to email to inquire about the resort accommodations there.
My inquiry was answered almost immediately, and although they had no available single rooms for the week we requested, they did have a suite, which they also offered at a discount because we had been guests at the marina other years.
Two weeks later, we arrived, and I must say, we were amazed at our beautiful suite. Perched high atop a hill, overlooking the marina and Leverick Bay, our suite was huge, with two bedrooms and baths, a large kitchen and dining area, and living room with cable TV and (slightly sketchy) wi-fi.
The outdoor living areas were just as large, with a gas grill and lounge chairs and dining table.
Personally, I still prefer seeing the islands by boat, but I would highly recommend this resort to anyone that just wants to get away from it all for a few days. Virgin Gorda has many attractions and beautiful beaches. Car rental was inexpensive and gave us a couple days of exploring different parts of the island. There were boat rentals available at the marina for day trips as well as dive and snorkel trips. The Bitter End Yacht Club is a quick ferry ride away, as well as Saba Rock.
There are two restaurants and a beach bar on the property, a Pussers store, a grocery store, and a couple other gift and clothing stores.
The staff was very cheerful and helpful. Just a marvelous place!

I have stayed on most Caribbean islands and found this to be a great location and great resort. It didn't have breakfast (as mentioned in other reviews) but who gets up for breakfast in the islands? It had better restaurant food than the much more expensive Bitter End Yacht Club. If you're staying in the BVI's, I would suggest this is a great place to stay. The rooms are basic, but why would you do anything but sleep in your room in the islands.

Basic room, bathroom needs updating as well as the grounds..rooms could use some decorating. Staff was very nice especially the bartender. We left a day early and no one inquired why... Food was ok, no breakfast available. It was quiet and basic.
