Our first thought (6 of us) was we were patronizing a partner Yacht club but little did we know it would be a very very good Mexican/Italian restaurant cantina! From the salad wedge and taco salad to the Hamburger with a Chimichanga and a Burrito to boot it was unanimous Sharky's is excellent. We will definitely return the next time we are in Roadtown.

All I can say is the, entire meal we had was very good! Enchiladas, rice, beans, and guacamole were spot on. Even the flan, and chocolate brownie ala mode were top notch. Now the place is a bit out of the way but well worth the effort. Try it, you'll like it!

Docked nearby overnight and went for dinner. Had great Pizza and Mexican food, cold beer and drinks on a breezy out-door patio. A lot of locals, not to fancy. We enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Sharky's is set in the old Royal BVI Yacht Club and whilst the building is a little shabby round the edges, the main bar and restaurant areas are very pleasant with a cool breeze coming off the sea. The service is very good and the proprietor is very much in evidence, making sure that things go smoothly. The Sangria was outstanding- the best I've had and the food was also first rate. I had the Mahi-Mahi and it was cooked to perfection. Sharky's fully deserves its place on TripAdvisor, which was how we found it.

We were staying nearby and tripadvisor brought us here. We really enjoyed our meal; I had the fish tacos, my step-father had Mahi-mahi. All well cooked and very tasty. As other reviewers have pointed out the owner is very friendly and makes sure everything is going well for you.

Oh and we washed all the food down with some very nice sangria (especially the red).

All in all a very welcome change from the usual fare around Tortola.

Thank Tim C
