Usually only stop here to get desserts to take away for dinner, but had breakfast here one morning. Service was friendly, but soooooooo slow. However the food (scrambled egg baguette with crispy bacon - and fries) when it came was of very high quality and enough for at least two hungry people, and the fresh OJ was just what I needed. I do think they need extra staff when they are busy, and it's all a bit disorganised, but the cafe is cool, very clean and if you're dieting, just look away from the patisserie counter....their eclairs are proper French ones with creme patissiere and not cream filling. Yum. Their fruit tarts are delicious and gleaming with fruity glaze, and their chocolate concoctions should probably be illegal. They also have a kind of Happy Pud Hour around 5 when you can get 3 for 2, I think!
