This is a beautiful little hotel that has so much history! Colbert, the manager, was very accommodating. The beach is gorgeous, and the set up with the lounge chairs was lovely. The service at the beach was horrible. The package we ordered came with two chairs, two drinks, and two towels. We received a lovely basket with two washcloths and the sprig of flowers. Since I had ordered it on the resort for a day online, we paid a hefty price. I think you can go to the beach, and get a lovely deal for a lot less money. I suggest using this hotel, but do it on your own without the middle man.

Been coming to St Maarten for 30 years and stayed every where. This Royal Boutique Hotel has been our 2nd home for over 5 years! Love the balcony suite. Great staff. Great breakfast, too. Cant say enough

The suite building is up and running; the room was, as always, remarkably clean. Colbert and the rest of the staff are still there, and they make everything feel like home. We won’t go anywhere else especially with the lovely beach right across the boardwalk. This is not a place to go if you are looking for lots and lots of amenities. It is, however, the place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing, friendly, and clean vacation.

The hotel room was clean and generally comfortable but also very basic. The WiFi worked really well and the staff at the hotel were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Their customer service was fantastic and they worked hard to make me feel very welcome. The fishermans room is a good lower budget option to visit St Maarten and there was free and easily accessible parking at the hotel which was a bonus.

Charming hotel with fantastic employees. One side is on the main street the other side is on the beach. Minutes from the cruise ship port. Lots of stores and grocery store around.
The rooms are pretty big and were rebuilt after the hurricane. I would definitely return.
