This restaurant sits over a little inlet near Castries; the boats come by as you eat. It is a very small locale, with about 6 or so tables, and the menu is short. But that means that the food is carefully chosen and prepared – and delicious.
The staff could not have taken better care of us - there was a problem with contacting our taxi driver. The manager made several calls to resolve it – such direct personal kindness.

Phenomenal - if I had to use one word, that would be it. We celebrated the renewal of our vows at Brown Sugar - couldn't have picked a better spot. Every single aspect of our experience there was perfect. The food was all delicious - we had a party of over 20 celebrating and there wasn't a single complaint. The best were the wings - but all of it was simply great. The service was wonderful. Kami, the owner, couldn't have been nicer, more accommodating, or more professional. This place is a must - even if you are staying at a resort on the island take one night and treat yourself to Brown Sugar.

This hidden restaurant has great view of the harbor especially in the evening when the city lights and cruise ships contribute to the lovely ambiance. The food is delicious - definitely recommend the burger. The Chef/owner is friendly but the general customer service can be worked on.

We had visited this place for Dinner earlier in the year, and they were out of several things that we wanted, but the food was still good. We decided to go by for lunch today. When we arrived, we were seated and given men's and were advised that one of the fish dishes on the menu was unavailable. We perused the menu and had both decided on curried Chicken roti. When we ordered, the server looked panicked, excused herself and then came back to tell us that no rotis were available. Disappointed we left. We like the owner/chef Cami very much, and wish her much success, but after 2 successive visits where we were disappointed it may be a long while before we return.

Very much enjoyed our dinner at Brown Sugars. Very good local fare in a quiet bayside setting. The wings are a must. Friendly staff--will return next time we are in St. Lucia.
