We rented a car from the airport and drove to Rodney Bay. We had a difficult time finding the island, but it was such a bright, clear day, the time didn't really matter, plus time stood still.
I hadn't read anything about Pigeon Island, other than the signs, and drove to the end of a dead-end road where there were pricey looking residences and asked a local where Pigeon Island was. I fully expected to see pigeons and thought maybe there were may different species. After all this was St. Lucia, the place of natural wonders. I desired to go because I had little else to do, other than recess into myself and commune with the Universe.
My eyes opened wide to the joy of such a beautiful beach, where the sky and ocean kissed. Clear, bright, and wonderful. Parking was not an issue. The entry to the park is to the right or straight ahead depending upon the view. Don't miss it!!!
