Keep in mind, this is a hostel. The rooms are just beds and you share bathrooms. It is in an excellent location in Old San Juan. You can hear the late night partying (we stayed on a Saturday), so make sure to bring ear plugs! The building is super cute with little balcony's for standing on every floor. Great price too!

The location is really excellent smack in the middle of Zona Colonial (the Old Town) but the rest is nothing special. Rooms are cramped, worn and a bit dark as are the toilets and showers. The place felt safe however and wifi worked well. I paid 51 USD for one night which is good given the location.

My girlfriend and I are the type of travelers who spend the entire day exploring the city and only use the hotel to shower and sleep. If that is what you are looking for, this is the right place for you. The rooms, shared bathrooms, or kitchen are not the prettiest. But this place is right in the center of old San Juan! Walking distance to all the fun!

You get what you pay for! Paid $50 for a private room barely big enough for a double bed. There are 2 bathrooms for all guests to use, and one of the toilets is not bolted down. Very dangerous! Most rooms are privates with a couple of dorm rooms. There are long term tenants in the dorms that are clearly crazy, but harmless, and nice. The owner speaks no English. Now the good... Excellent Wifi, clean stocked kitchen, flat screens with dish TV in privates, excellent location, towels included and beach towels available.

It's a simple place, small price, good location- it's a hostel. It was my first stay at one and I was worried at first but this place was great. Went with my two friends for an early spring break, stayed 3 nights and it was a good start for our trip. It's in a central place for parties, beach, it's a safe area, has good restaurants nearby, grocery stores so you can cook your own food if youd like to try.. The three of us had a shared room with someone new staying for one night only, the room had a great balcony where you can catch some sun overlooking the street.
Again, it's not a hotel- nothing fancy, just bare minimums, but with a lot of charm and positive attributes for younger travelers.
